Event Description

Jerome Hill Climb is just like the name sounds – a challenging course that starts at the Jerome Historical Museum and winds up through the Jerome streets continuing on a dirt road past the Gold King Mine and ending at a gorgeous view of Sedona. There is plenty of food and refreshments at the finish.

Cost is $27 for non-members, $22 for ARR members. Your ARR member discount will show on your total during checkout.

This event features special t-shirt artwork by Anne Bassett, a local artist from the town of Jerome (www.jeromeartistannebassett.com). The awards, which will be presented to the first 3 males and females, are pottery made and painted by local artists, David Hall and Jane Moore from Made in Jerome Pottery.

Start and Finish Information
The race starts at 8 a.m. approximately 1 mile from the registration area. After the race you will have a 3.5 mile jog or walk back to your car.

Parking
Parking is limited in Jerome so we ask that you plan accordingly and give yourself enough time to park in the main parking lot and jog to the start line (approximately one mile downhill). There is absolutely no parking or dropping off at the start line. The registration is in the parking lot so you have to go there to get your race number. There is water and bathrooms at the start line.

Please Note:
Spectators are NOT allowed to drive on the course! For the safety and enjoyment of the runners, DON’T drive on the course. The dirt road is narrow and dusty. Stop at the lot behind the firehouse and walk to the first aid station or along the course to watch the runners.

Packet Pickup and Race T-shirts
Bib and race t-shirt are available on race day morning. Race t-shirts are only guaranteed to runners who pre-register and pick up their shirt before gun time. Remaining shirts will be available for purchase after gun time.

Timing
The race uses the traditional bib pull timing system. All runner’s times are recorded based on the starting gun.
