Event Description

October 21, 2018 marks the 21st Annual LA Cancer Challenge 5K Walk/Run, the signature fundraising event of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Held on the beautiful campus of UCLA where much of the foundation’s research is conducted, So Cal’s best Halloween-themed fitness event includes a Fit Family Expo with food & beverage booths, activity tents, a stage with a huge video screen, a Candyland Kids Zone and more. 

General registration includes a chip-timed event, commemorative t-shirt and custom runner’s bib. Custom winners’ medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the 5K. In addition to medals, overall 1st - 3rd place male & female winners for the 5K, 10K and 15K will receive prizes.

At the heart of the LACC, which has raised over $7.3 million to date, is our goal to unite generations, young and old, through physical fitness to create public awareness and raise much-needed funds for pancreatic cancer research.
