Event Description

Breathe Deep Salt Lake City is a grassroots event in celebration of Jan Poulsen’s 11th year of lung cancer survivorship!

The Poulsen family had little information about lung cancer when Jan was diagnosed, so they turned to LUNGevity Foundation for answers and participated in another LUNGevity event, Breathe Deep Los Angeles. Now, they are excited to provide the Salt Lake City area with the same education and support they received from LUNGevity!

Breathe Deep Salt Lake City, which will raise critically needed funds for lung cancer research, is a 5K walk and fun run in the gorgeous Sugar House Park. Join us for a morning of celebrating lung cancer survivors, honoring those currently fighting the lung cancer battle, and remembering those loved ones who have lost the battle.
