Event Description
Our 13th Annual 5K Run for Fun and 1 Mile Walk for Wellness are held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at CP Rochester, 3399 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY. This certified 5K course (#NY17100KL) is mostly flat and runs through a residential neighborhood with one or two gentle hills. Runners should get excellent times from this course!
All proceeds from the 5K Run for Fun help fund programs and services offered through CP Rochester, Happiness House, and Rochester Rehabilitation which assist adults and children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. These programs and services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies; housing; early intervention and preschool programs; day habilitation and respite services; recreational programs and employment services. Your registration makes a direct impact on more than 6,500 individuals in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes area. Register now for a great morning of fun!
Things to Know
Registration fee: $20 if you register by May 18, $25 May 19 - June 9 (day of race)
Race Day Registration from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
5K Race and 1 Mile Walk for Wellness start promptly at 9 a.m.
Cash prizes to top winners (1st M/F $100, 2nd M/F $75, 3rd M/F $50)

CORPORATE TEAMS: Recruit your friends and colleagues from work to join us for the Run for Fun. Elevate your company’s presence in the community, receive acknowledgment in Ability Partners Foundation newsletters and social media, and do something fun with your colleagues! Pre-race packet pickup will be available at Fleet Feet Sports @ the Armory (155 Culver Road, #110) on Friday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We encourage you to attend pre-race packet pickup to avoid long lines; however, we understand that it may not be possible. If you cannot, then please pick up your packet at the registration table on race day from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
