Event Description

This is a fast flat course through the village of East Rochester being very well marked with 2 water stops. The race is a part of the “Rochester Runner of the Year Series” and receives outstanding support from residents that cheer participants to the finish line.

This will be the tenth year for this annual event in which funds raised from this go directly to an individual or individuals suffering from this terrible disease. This year funds will go to the “Patient Needs Fund” at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Assistance can be provided to patients in the form of gift cards for gas, groceries and general merchandise from stores such as Wegmans and Target. Participating can help to set a PR or the opportunity to run or walk for a great cause. Come dressed in a costume for an opportunity to win a gift certificate to a local restaurant. And, as always, there is plenty of food and the opportunity to take home some great goodies from the bake sale that is put on annual by the family of Steve Ross, the original recipient of funds from this event.

You must be registered by September 30th to guarantee a T-shirt.
