Event Description
Location: Green Lane Park 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane PA 18054
Registration/Bib Pickup: Opens @7:00AM under Pavilion #1
Start time: 7:45AM
Course: challenging but extremely scenic trail course around the lake and reservoir!! (There are a few rocky areas on the blue trail, you can either walk, hop or crawl your way through pretending its a mine field!!) ½ Marathon starts on the closed off rd down from the Ranger Station then proceeds across the bridge and follows the Perkiomen trail to 29, up the big hill, around the Reservoir to Knight Rd (staying on the trail). It then crosses over the bridges, follows the trail around the perimeter of the reservoir to the boat launch area, proceeds back up the hill to the equestrian camping area, down and back to where you started for the finish.
Water/Aid Stations: #1 By the elementary school around 1.5M, #2 just past the Second Crossing of Knight road @ M4, #3 @M6 along the last bridge on knight Rd.. #4 @8.5M (bottom of Hill Rd entrance), #5 M10 around the reservoir Launch Area, ……. Volunteers will also be posted at ALL road crossings and potentially hazardous areas.
Swag: Short Sleeve Tech shirt and a one-of-a-kind finisher’s medal symbolic to Green Lane!! Awards and refreshments (including ice pops) will be distributed at the pavilion (race WILL be held rain or shine!!)
Fees: ½ Marathon, $45 until April 1st then $50 up till August 1st and $60 after..... if NOT sold out. (Limited SPOTS available!!) This race will be an alternative to the bigger half marathons around this time........
Awards: The top three male and female runners in each age group will receive awards. The top male and female overall finishers will receive awards. The top overall male and female in the Master’s Division (over 40) will also receive awards.
Age Groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (also, the oldest participant) Results will be posted to schuylkillriverrunners.com that day!!
