Event Description

Please join us for our 16th Anniversary as we ride and walk to help end hunger.

Signature Two-Day Ride: On September 14 - 16, 2018 our 16th annual 200-mile bike tour begins in Gettysburg, PA. Utilizing the least traveled roads whenever possible, the route chosen provides riders with breathtaking views of the Amish and central Pennsylvania countryside. The route is a combination of flat, rolling, and hilly terrain. Your physical condition is important and all riders should have ridden 300-400 miles (including one 75-mile ride) in the preceding 2 months before participating in this tour. Hotel accommodations and some meals and snacks are provided with tour registration. We provide support vehicles, transportation of your personal luggage, maps of each day’s route, and lots of friendly volunteers.

One-Day Rides: Once again, we will also offer One-Day Rides on Sunday, September 16, 2018 leaving from and returning to General Washington Pavilion at Washington Crossing State Park, PA. There are both 35-mile and 63-mile options.

In addition, this year we will continue our annual "George and Kinny's Canal Path Ride", with family friendly off-road options crossing the historic Washington Crossing Bridge through lovely Titusville Village with views of the Delaware, then as far as you care to go – Lambertville, Stockton or Bulls Island State Park and return via the Delaware Raritan Canal tow path (anywhere from 2 to 50 miles - you choose!).

Can’t ride, run or walk?…join us at Washington Crossing Park on Sunday, September 16, 2018, as all of our 16th annual BAH bike tour participants will again return to the General Washington Pavilion. The riders are expected to arrive 5:15pm. A delicious barbeque celebration will follow the triumphant entrance of the riders into the park.
