RACE DAY IS HERE...
RACE MORNING:
Race Bib Pickup is from 7:30-8:30 am.
Pick up your number, near the gazebo, at either the PRE-REGISTERED 5k TABLE or the PRE-REGISTERED WALK/KIDS FUN RUN TABLE depending on the event you chose. If you were one of the first one hundred people registered, you will receive your limited edition, Jakey designed, t-shirt when you check in for the race.
Bib Pickup and Registration closes at 8:30 am.
Final Race Announcements will be at 8:30 – 8:40 am.
Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:45 am. It is a 50 yard Dash for 3-7 yr olds and & 75 yard Dash for ages 8 and up.
5k Run will start promptly at 9:00 am. (It is a two loop course around the park.)
1.5 mile walk will start at 9:05 am. (One loop of the park.)
Awards: will occur 15 minutes after the last runner crosses the finish line.

Dear Jakey’s Jaunt Participants,
We just wanted to extend our thanks for participating in the run to help our family. It has been a little over two years since Jake’s leukemia diagnosis and we are still fighting to rid the cancer cells from Jake’s body. We continue to give Jake multiple chemotherapy agents every night. Every few weeks Jake receives chemotherapy into his spine to kill leukemia cells that may have leaked into his cerebrospinal fluid. It has been a difficult past two years for our family, especially Jake. But we are thrilled that he is still with us. We are also thrilled to have people like Ryan (Jake’s current teacher) & Kim (Paul’s fantastic former student) who continue to look out for our family as we continue to fight with Jake. There are many unexpected costs that surface when your child has cancer. We are overwhelmed and humbled that people want to help us shoulder this burden. Events like this, and people like you, make us feel like so many people are on our team. We know you so many of you are out there rooting for Jakey. We are beyond grateful to all of you. We can’t wait to see you out at Rose Tree Park on May 12th so we can thank you in person. Don’t expect any speed records from the DelPrato’s.
