Event Description

This is CureSearch for Children's Cancer third annual 10k, 5k and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk in the Sarasota and Manatee County Area. CureSearch raises funds through philanthropic donations from individuals, special events, corporations, private foundations, sponsorships, and cause marketing. My name is Candace Powell and I am the event coordinator; I am also a survivor of pediatric cancer. From 3 months of age to 3 years I was undergoing many chemo treatments and fighting for my life. Please join me on this day to help raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer, so that other children may be able to win the battle against cancer like I did.

The gates open at 6:30 am and our opening ceremonies begin at 7:00 am (tentatively). The 5k and 10k wll begin at 7:30 am followed by the 1 - Mile.
