Event Description

Join with us as we begin our quarterly fitness series here in Sacramento! This race, on Oct 20th, will be a great time to get out those new or old halloween costumes and come run with the whole family, your group of friends or your favorite work colleagues. Whether you’re a longtime racer or first-time runner, the Sacramento Fitness Series is for you. We have a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) and a Kids Dash. It’s a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome! A portion of the net proceeds from the series benefits BBMJ and the Boys & Girls Club of America. Your participation in this race will directly benefit their kid’s fitness programs, keeping them healthy and active all year long. The course is a great course surrounding a large park on a paved path. There will be plenty of on-site free parking. The 5k will be one loop and the 10k will be two.
