Event Description
The 5K Run/walk will be held on Wednesday, July 4th, beginning at 7 a.m. at FARR WEST CITY HALL - 1896 North 1800 West and ending at MOUNTAIN VIEW PARK - 1500 North 1700 West. Please register at www.farrwest4th.eventbrite.com. The cost is $15 if pre-registered by 8 p.m. on June 26th and $25 until July 2nd, which includes a shirt. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 2ND. Shirt sizes are only guaranteed to those who register before June 26th. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners!

What is the race course?
The 5k will begin at Farr West City hall and proceed to Harrisville Road. Runners will travel west on Harrisville Road to 1200 West. Runners will travel south on 1200 West to 1100 North where they will make a right turn and head west in Mountain View Subdivision to 1500 West. A right hand turn will be made and runners will proceed north on 1500 West until reaching 1200 North where they will turn left and follow that road until it connects with 1300 North. On 1300 North the runners will travel east to 1350 West and then head north to 1500 North. Once the runners reach 1500 North, they will proceed west until they reach the finish line at Mountain View Park.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
NO however the youngest age group awarded prizes is 8-14 years. If your child is younger than 8, they will be included in the lowest age group.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Race starts and ends in different locations. You are responsible for your transportation either to the start line or to retrieve your vehicle after the race. There is a walking path from the park to Harrisville Road which would shorten a walk back to the City Hall.
What can I bring into the event?
Please DO NOT bring pets with you. Strollers are acceptable but will be asked to start BEHIND all other runners.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
