Registration:

5K - Early registration - $25 until September 30, $27 until October 23, $30 at registration or race day. Kids Fun Run $20 until September 30, $22 until October 23, $25 at registration or race day.  

Course Information:

We are a USATF 5K Certified Course. The course is flat and fast, taking place on the beautiful tree-lined streets of West University Place with only 6 turns. 

Beneficiary:

All proceeds benefit the City of West U's Parks and Recreation Department.

Awards:

Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female and Stroller/Dog Division Male and Female will receive awards. Top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. We will also award prizes for the best costumes (adult and child).

Refund and Transfer Policy:

There are no refunds or transfers. 

Strollers and Dog Division

New for 2018!  We will have a separate division for people running with strollers or dogs.  This division will have its own start following the start of the regular 5K.  

Please register for this division if you plan to do so (cost is the same, but it will help us get your time right).  We will give awards to the Overall Male and Female from this division, but you will not be eligible for any age group awards.

Bikes, scooters, etc.:

No bikes, scooters, rollerblades or skateboards permitted in either event.

Parking:

Parking in West U is extremely limited. If you can, please plan to walk or ride your bike to the race. If you do drive, make sure to park legally without blocking driveways. The West U police will likely be out ticketing and we would hate for you to have more than sore legs as a souvenir of the race.

Chip Timing:

The 5k race will be chip timed using the ChronoTrack Electronic timing system.

Costume Contest:

There will be a costume contest at 9:15. Awards will be given for costumes in the following categories: Best Female, Best Male, Best Couple and Best Child. 

Photos:

Your Sporting Image will be taking race photographs. Photos may be viewed at www.yoursportingimage.com following the race.
