Event Description

You'll actually be running on trails that native tribes used. The Suisunes (also called the Suisun and the "People of the West Wind") were a tribe of Native Americans that lived in Northern California's Suisun Marsh regions of Solano County, California between what is now Suisun City, Vacaville and Putah Creek around 200 years ago. The valley was also settled by the Patwin Tribe.

The race course covers 10 miles of mostly single track dirt trails. Cumulative elevation is 2000 feet, but the 5 trails that are a 25% grade or better will have your quads and hamstrings burning. The local ultra runners use this same course for training in races like the Sonoma 50 miler.
