Event Description
The Coconut Creek Police Department and North Creek Presbyterian Church invite all runners, walkers, sponsors and volunteers to come out for this great 5K event in support of the Coconut Creek Police Explorers program.
The Explorers Program provides a means through which young men and women, ages 14 – 18, may determine through actual experience and training if they would like to pursue a career in law enforcement. All proceeds from the North Creek Explorer 5K will directly benefit the Explorer program to cover costs for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions and supplies
Event details and schedule
Pre-race activities:
The activities starts at 3:30PM with pre-race activities where you are invited to meet the Coconut Creek Police Department and the young individuals who are currently participating in the Explorer program. There will be police cars and motorcycles, SWAT Truck, K-9 demonstrations and more! Live music starts at 4PM and food will also be available.
Registrants are invited to check in starting at 3:30PM. Note that those who registered online prior to the race are guaranteed to receive a bag and t-shirt. Walk-ups will receive a bag and t-shirt based on availability on a first come first serve basis.
Race:
The race will start at 5PM and the course will circle through the church parking lot and down NW 71st Place where it you will circle back out to Lyons Road South to Hillsboro west. The path continues through Saw Palmetto Natural Area, turns East on NW 74th Place back to Lyons Road south, ending at the church.
Awards:
All participants 10 and under will receive a participant medal. Trophies will be awarded to top performing male and females participants in individual age groups, Top 5K Overall Male and Female, Top 5K Overall Male and Female Coconut Creek Resident and Top 5K Overall Male and Female Law Enforcement.

Includes company logo on the mile marker sign prominently displayed at the 1-mile mark, 2-mile mark, or 3-mile mark. Or for $300, company logo can appear on all three.
FINISH LINE SPONSOR - $200.00
Includes company logo prominently displayed below the finish line clock.
BRONZE - $250.00
Includes company name on banners, race bag inserts, and company name listed on website.
SILVER - $500.00
Includes logo on banners, race bag inserts, promotional materials in race packet, and logo on website with link to your site.
