Event Description

This marks the 44th anniversary of the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club and Gulf Coast Cyclefest. Come out and be part of a great event! Presented by the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club and sponsored in part by Crescent Wealth Partners in support of the Legacy Trail extention. One full day of superb cycling in beautiful southwest Florida. Riders may choose supported routes of 104, 79, 62, 35, or 20 mile distances. All routes are designed for safety. The 20 and 35 mile routes do not travel on state roads. The 62 mile route travels to beautiful coastal Terra Ceia. This is not a race and is designed to be a family event for cyclists of all abilites. Breakfast provided along with a catered lunch. Full SAG support and five well-stocked rest stops. Proceeds benefit The Legacy Trail Extension.  

Event details and schedule

This year will feature breakfast, high quality dri-fit shirts, five well-stocked rest stops, full SAG support, music,  lunch and various venders on Main Street to enjoy.

Register by October 1, 2018 for a guaranteed dri-fit shirt in your requested size.

Ride starts: 7:30AM-104 & 79 miles

                    8:15 AM-62 miles

                    9:00 AM-35 miles        

                    9:45 AM-20 miles

Ride ends:    3:30PM

Meals: Breakfast & lunch included

Breakfast served 6:45-9:15

Lunch served 11:00-3:30

Packet pick-up Friday and Saturday before event; locations announced via email and SMBC website.
