Event Description

Outrun the Sun is a unique urban trail running challenge- it's time to play! The goal is simple, score as many Play Points as you can in 90 minutes, before the sun goes down. Top male and female scorers at sunset will score great prizes from Salomon including entries to the new Castle 2 River Trail Festival this fall. 

Points are scored when a runner or walker completes a 1 mile trail loop in Van Cortlandt Park. Bonus points can be scored by testing out Salomon shoes, playing a quick round of cornhole or crushing trivia questions, courtesy of our good friends at Bronx Sole. Run a little, play a little and have a ton of fun on the longest day of the year! 

The event will kick off at 7:00pm and wrap the activities portion at 8:30pm. After party will be Bronx Alehouse, starting at 9:00pm.
