Event Description

Alpha & Omega Sports and Fork & Ale have come together to bring to you the Schuylkill River Trail Charity 5K Series, held at Fork & Ale restaurant on Route 724 in Douglassville. Races will be conducted on the FOURTH WEDNESDAY of every month between April and September, and the series will be a good way to gauge your fitness progression from Spring through Fall. These will be very family-oriented events that will also host a different charity at each race. April - DBYS, May - Animal Rescue League of Berks County, June - Monocacy Hill Conservation Association, July - Toys 4 Tots, August - Animal House Project September - (Voted on by the participants, Each Runners gets a vote)

FEES: Entry fee for the 5k series is $60. Sign up for Race Series up until evening of May 23rd. Each entry will be eligible for the raffle following the race.  (must be present to win raffle)  Individual race fees are $15. Everyone who registers for the entire series will be given a t-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased at the races (starting with the 3rd race)

ONE COMPLIMENTARY draft beer will be given to every participant over the age of 21 courtesy of Fork and Ale.

FORK AND ALE will donate a portion of all food and drink purchased that evening to that race’s specified non-profit.

ALPHA & OMEGA SPORTS will donate proceeds from each race to the designated non-profit.

Bib pickup starts at 5:45PM, Race will begin at 6:30PM.

Each Race will award the Top Overall Male and Top Overall Female Winners, and the top 2 in the following age groups: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ 

Overall Race Series Award: The Top Male and Top Female Points Leader of the entire series will each receive a $50 Gift Certificate for Fork and Ale Restaurant! We will take the top FIVE athlete's scores. If a person competes in all six races than their worst finish will be dropped. 

Chester County Running Store will be donating a pair of Men’s and Women’s Running Shoes for raffle following the series. You must have run every race to be eligible for this award.
