Event Description

"Gulliver's Run" is a 5k Trail Run/Walk, with or without a canine companion, to raise funds for the fight against canine cancer and to honor the memory of Gulliver and all of the other dogs that have run the final race against this terrible disease. "Gulliver's Run", Inc. is a non-profit, public charity, all proceeds from the 5k are donated to the National Canine Cancer Foundation and go to organizations directly involved in canine cancer research and treatment. "Gulliver's Run" is family/pet oriented and pledged to carry on Gulliver's battle against canine cancer. In addition to overall awards and age-group awards there are over a dozen awards in 8 special categories related to dogs and humans, including the "Gulliver Rue" Award for the first Vizsla to cross the finish line! Come out and be a part of this special event and enjoy the fall color in beautiful Gifford Pinchot State Park.
