Event Description

Welcome! We are ready for the 18th edition of Run for the Trails 5K, and hope you are, too. The 5K course starts in the shadow of an historic brick Methodist Church, winds through shaded village streets, follows a paved hike/bike trail along a stream and through a village park before finishing near the gazebo at Maria Stanhope Park. We received positive reviews of the new 2017 course, and the addition of chip timing was a hit, too.  The race/walk was founded to raise funds to build hike/bike trails in the village. Run for the Trails, Inc., in conjunction with the Village of Seville, continues to work toward the goal of expanding the existing trail.
