Kent State Student Pricing

Registration fees are $45 for the Race Series and $25 for each individual race. The discount will be applied during the registration process.

Additional discount codes may also be applied, further reducing the registration cost.

The Run the World Race Series is a collaboration between the colleges and regional campuses within Kent State University and the Office of Global Education to raise money for education abroad student scholarships.  The Series will consist of the fourth annual Run the World held on Kent State’s Kent Campus and the  third annual Run the World – Stark at the Stark Campus in North Canton, OH. 

Over the past three years the Run the World events have been able to provide $32,000 in scholarships for students to study abroad.

The fourth annual Run the World 5K will take place Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 8:30 am. The start and finish line will be at Risman Plaza (in between the Student Center and University Library) at Kent State.

Run the World – Stark will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 8:30 am.  The start and finish line will be at the Recreation and Wellness Center at Kent State – Stark.

Kent State Students: Registration for each race will also include you in a chance to win one of multiple $1,000 scholarships toward a study abroad experience. The study abroad program must be a Kent State or exchange program. See the Office of Global Education to determine if your interested program qualifies. Students must register for the race to be qualified.
