We regretfully had to cancel the Beat Beethoven's 5th 5K scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2018. At some time in the future, we will bring Beethoven back to Olympia.

Beat Beethoven’s 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 9:00am starting and ending at Heritage Park at Capitol Lake, Olympia, Washington.

Besides having fun and supporting the Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia, the goal of the race is to cross the finish line before Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony ends – approximately 33 minutes!  Da Da Da Daa

All are welcome! Bring your friends, family, and fellow music lovers. This race is for all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes. Strollers are welcome. While we love our furry friends, please no dogs on the race course.

Registrations received by Sept 14th receive a free Tshirt!
Registrations received after Sept 14th do not receive a free Tshirt, but we will have limited quantities on hand for purchase.

Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia was established 18 years ago by two very energetic high school musicians.  Today SOGO has over 125 members from all over the South Sound, involved in one of three orchestras, and a brass choir.   They perform in six concerts and events that are held each season.
