Event Description

Taking place during National Pregnancy Loss Awareness month, Life Perspectives is bridging the gap to bring people on all sides of the fence together for a day of healing and hope. The Side by Side 5K taking place on Saturday, October 27th, benefits the non-profit which provides healing resources for men and women worldwide who are experiencing loss through miscarriage or abortion. The event begins at 10:00 am at De Anza Cove, located at 3000 North Mission Bay Drive, San Diego 92109.

 The event is aimed at spreading the message of Life Perspectives which is to let everyone know, no matter what their circumstances are or what they believe, that people who have experienced pregnancy loss need love and support and that they are not alone.

 “So many hurting men and women feel isolated and alone in their grief. From the generosity of our community sponsors and 5K participants, we are able to connect many of them with healing resources designed to bring them hope,” Michaelene Fredenburg, President & Founder of Life Perspectives said.

 More than 350 individuals are expected to participate in the event which will include live music, a post-race festival, and awards for top race finishers as well as to top fund-raisers. All participants will get free snacks, a cool t-shirt, and 2 for 1 beers at Absolution by the Sea in La Jolla.
