Event Description
The 2nd Annual NorthBridge to AZ Falls Run for Success takes place on the local Arizona Canal managed by SRP in Arcadia. You'll start the 5K at 56th St/Arizona Falls and run to the bridge at 68th St. and back - one loop, past a park and near Old Town Scottsdale. The one-mile fun run/walk is on the same course. It's a flat surface for speed or leisurely running. You cross the timed finish line back at Arizona Falls and stay to celebrate your success at the refreshment booths on the deck followed by a medal ceremony. All 5K runners compete for age-group first, second and third place medals.
This race last year was one of the best locally attended 5Ks, drawing over 100 people. The weather should be nice and cool for a great run. Have tons of fun and celebrate student success!
Event details and schedule
Race Day registration @ 7:30 am. Start time at 8:30 for the 5K and 8:40 for the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Parking at Herberger Park on site, Arcadia Park across the street and Prince of Peace Church next door. Packet pick-up at iRun Arcadia next to Safeway @ Indian School & 48th St. beginning Sunday Nov. 4 through Friday Nov. 9th during normal business hours. Bathrooms at Starbucks and Herberger Park.
