Event Description

Please join us for our 4th Annual 5K Halloween Fun Run/Walk! This is a great way to get active! The Halloween Fun Run will take place in Old Town Pittsburg on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

We invite you to come out to this event and visit our beautiful waterfront and John Buckley Square. For extra fun, form a team with friends and family, co-workers, and neighbors! We will have a costume contest so run or walk in your costume (Family friendly costume required. Inappropriate attire will be denied entry). There will be a prize for best team and individual costume.

Youth participating in the free Kids Run/Walk will receive a participant ribbon (t-shirt not included.)

Medallions will be presented to the first three finishers by age group and gender in the 5k only.

This is a rain or shine event. No Refunds.

Where:John Buckley Square/Old Town Plaza - Railroad & 6th Street

Event registration begins at 7 am. T-Shirt not guaranteed for race day registration.

Event kicksoff at 8 am with Kids Run/Walk

5K Fun Run at 8:30 am 

If you registered by 10/22/18, packets will be available for pick up at the Railroad Book Depot (650 Railroad Avenue) on October 25, 2018 after 12 pm & October 26, 2018 during regular business hours. Please bring photo ID. If picking up packets for other runners, please bring a copy of their photo ID with you ("copy" can be a cell phone image). If you registered after 10/22/18, you can pick up your packet on raceday startng at 7 am.

Street parking is available throughout the downtown area except Railroad avenue between 5th & 6th Street.

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano will be at the event so please bring a can good or two to support the cause! Help feed the hungry in our community. Many thanks for the donations.
