Event Description

You have heard of The Iron Man Triathlon before ..Well  Durbin Crossing is introducing " The Tin Man "multi event race.  This event will take place at Durbin Crossing. Meet at the Durbin Crossing Amenity Center at 145 South Durbin Parkway, Saint Johns , Fl 32259

For the kids Triathlon participants will swim in the pool, jump on their bikes ride on the course throughout the field behind the pool, then run a loop on that field. The events will be chip timed and distances are based on the age of the child. Kids must supply their own bikes and must wear a helmet to participate. The events will go off in waves.  Kids Traithon time is 9:00 am,  Adult Biathlon time is 10:00 am  Race distance is based on child age.

Ages 6-7, 50 meters in pool, bike 2 loops ( aprox 1/4 mile) run 1 loop ( aprox 1/8 mile) 

Ages 8-10 100 meters in pool, bike 4 loops, run 2 loops

Ages 11-14 100 meters in pool, bike 6 loops, run 4 loops

Kids triathlon  participants will get a racing bib, Florida Race Day shirt, finishers medal, and photograph of the event.  Results will be posted online.  Costs for Kids triathalon is $35 

Adult Biathlon (For those aged 15 on up , and after the kids triathlon ) Participants will swim 100 meters in pool then transition into a 5k Run. Cost for the Biathlon is $45 and includes racing bib, Florida Race Day shirt, finishers medal, and photograph of the event.  Results will be posted online.
