Show your patriotic spirit and join the Junior Service League of Brooksville for the 6th Annual fun & family-oriented -- Freedom Fun Run 5K, 10K, 1 mile. This is a patriotic themed race on the Good Neighbor Trail in scenic downtown Brooksville. Come join us on Brooksville's finest paved trails shaded with old oak trees and beautiful scenery. This trail runs from historic downtown Brooksville to the Withlacoochee State Trail.
There will be awards for top performers as well costume awards so come ready to race and dressed in your best red, white and blue.
This event is hosted by Junior Service League of Brooksville. They are an organization of women committed to improving the community through effective action and leadership by participation in projects and organizations benefiting the citizens of Hernando County. Their goal is to be an example to our community of how to treat each other with honor, dignity and respect for better relationships with family, friends and associates. Their purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Parking will be across the street at the Hernando County Health Department. Runner drop-off is available at Russell St. Park.
Registration will begin on 11/10/17 at 7 AM for the 5K, 10K and costume contest with the 10K beginning at 8 AM and the 5K at 8:15 AM.
Registration for the 1 mile run/walk will open at 8:15 AM with the race beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Awards Ceremony will begin around 10:30 AM. Please join us to cheer the winners! Awards will be given for runners as well as best red/white/blue and most patriotic!
