Event Description

RACE OVERVIEW
Whitefish Mountain Resort is the place to ride a bike on Thursday nights this summer. It is as much about the party and the people as it is about the race. Come hang out, and ride your bike while you are at it. We expect 50-100 racers per night.  Helmets are required to race.
All races start, finish, registration and check in are all at the Village Trailhead

Kids Race - 6:50pm Race Start
Get a ribbon and Popsicle for racing! Help from parents is appreciated.
This is mainly toddlers on push bikes, or kids with pedal bikes with smaller wheels. The course is usually only about 200-400 yards with possibly a slight incline/decline. Kids awards are given about 10-15 minutes after the XC race begins (approx. 7:15).

XC Races – 7pm Race Start
Each week we will offer a course about 3-5 miles in length with about 300-600 vertical feet.  Different categories race anywhere from 1-4 laps depending on the course. Must check in / Register by 6:30 each race.

FAQs
When should I arrive?
Well, we pushed it back half an hour this year so you can make it after work a bit easier.  You need to have registered or checked in (even if registered online) to get your race plate/timing chip and allow the race organizers to be prepared for a 7pm start.  To be clear, this does not mean you arrive at 7pm. That includes parking, walking up to the check in window, etc.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Any age can enter the Tykes Race.  There is no age minimum for the XC race, but we do ask for parental supervision if needed.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a bit of construction in the Village Area.  We recommend parking in the upper two lots (Alder/Village Parking as well as Birch Lot which is below the Bierstube)

What can I bring into the event?
Bike, Family, High Fives, etc. Spectators usually hang around the Start / Finish area. You are welcome to hike to any location on course, provided you do stay off the race course during the race.

What about Bathrooms?
There are bathrooms at the Bierstube, Hellroaring, Village Restrooms located below Ed and Mully’s at the top of the Boardwalk as well as the restrooms near the bottom of Chair 2.

What about dogs?
Dogs are welcome, but they must remain on a leash and be supervised at all times.

Refunds?
You can refund your ticket here on eventbrite up to 24 hours before the event, for any reason - no drama.
