Event Description

Be a part of the inaugural Burgoyne's Bridge 5K, a race through history at Hudson Crossing Park! Join us for a run/jog/walk on the trails that celebrates the rich history of the area we live in. You will be running over the Dix Bridge, which is located where General Burgoyne's "Bridge of Boats" was built in September 1777 to allow thousands of troops and artillery to cross the Hudson River.
This race is offered in conjunction with the Schuylerville Small Business Association's Turning Leaves Fall Festival happening afterward from 12noon-6pm. Plan to wander through the village for food, music, hands-on activities, and special offers all over town.
Like Hudson Crossing Park, this 5k is intended to be family-friendly, and therefore there is a registration discount for families... a family of three or more will cost $60. Start a new fall family tradition, support the park, learn about history, and have fun! Sign up TODAY!
