Event Description

Belton New Tech @ Waskow presents their Fifth annual Zombie 5k on October 26th 2019 along the beautiful Nolan Creek! Come out for ghouls of fun – run, walk or crawl. We have a place for you! Participants walk or run as a zombie or as a human. The goal is for the humans to save Belton by zipping to the finish line before the zombies make it there first.  There will be a zombie makeup team on site for an additional fee.  Costume prizes will be awarded for each category.  The freshmen class at Belton New Tech @Waskow is partnering with Body of Christ Health Clinic to provide flu shots for the Bell County Community.  Come out and join us for this worthy cause. 

***Please be aware that makeup may stain any clothing worn by participants. Plan accordingly***

Location: 700 Confederate Park Drive, Belton, TX 76513. Proceeds from this run will help support a free flu shot clinic at Body of Christ Clinic in November to avoid a Bell County outbreak.

The Chase begins at 9am on Oct 26th 2019. Pre-registration will end on Oct 24th at 11:59 pm. Registration is $35 the day of the race. Children age 6 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Race Day Registration and packet pick up runs from 8-8:45am. Please get there early.

Awards: Top 3 M/F Fastest Humans, Top 3 M/F Fastest Zombies, Deadliest Zombie, Most creative costumes in each category.

The event will be held rain or shine. No refunds.

Register by Oct. 15th to guarantee a free t-shirt!!! Limited quantities will be available after this date.

This is a chip-timed race!!

Additional Information: For the safety of other runners and walkers, no pets, rollerblades, skateboards etc. in the chase, but strollers are welcome!
