Supporting the Greenbelt While You Run!
Your participation and race fee help support the not-for-profit Greenbelt Conservancy mission to maintain and grow our trail system, offer environmental education initiatives for people of all ages and abilities, and promote stewardship of the Greenbelt's open space. The Conservancy works in partnership with NYC Parks. Visit our webiste: sigreenbelt.org
About the Course
Fall Flat takes you along the White Trail and around Willowbrook Lake; it is flat and well suited for novice runners and walkers as well as more competitive athletes. The course is clearly marked with overhead ribbons. Course marshalls are in place to provide assistance. There is one water stop mid-course. Go here to view a map of the entire Greenbelt trail system.
Timing, Race Shirts and Award Medals
The race is professionally chip-timed culminating in an awards ceremony. First, second and third place medals will be presented in 12 age caterories. Refreshments and a wicking shirt with the Fall Flat logo are provided for pre-registered runners. Race photos are posted on the "The Greenbelt Conservancy" facebook page within 48 hours of race day.
Race bibs, timing chips and shirts or hats will be distributed on race day. Arrive early to pick-up. Same day registration is $35.00 - register early to save money! Start time is 10 am.
We are not able to refund race fees but can help you transfer your bib number to a person of your choice within 24 hours of race day.
