Event Description

This trail race follows a rolling course over dirt roads and forest paths in the scenic Blue Hills Reservation, a few miles south of Boston.  The route avoids steep hiking trails, but this IS a trail race, with plenty of small rocks and tree roots along the way!  As a result of the course changes that we introduced in 2017, the course is now entirely on dirt, and the course distance is 7.0 miles.

The race is directed by Colonial Road Runners.  A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to Friends of the Blue Hills, which helps to maintain trails in the Reservation and serves as an advocate for the Reservation's protection.
