Event Description
Run to Break the Chain is a volunteer-run 5k race and 1 Mile Fun Run with all proceeds going to Operation Underground Railroad (ourrescue.org), which exists to rescue children from sex trafficking.
We are honored to have our guest speaker, Sarah-Jane Vegas, share her story. She is a survivor of this horrific industry. Thankfully she was able to escape and now her greatest passion is to reach the women and children still trapped in the sex industry to bring them hope and support in their journey into freedom.
NV Secretary of State, Barbara Cegavske, Senate Majority Leader, Aaron Ford, and a representative from LVMPD who works on these issues daily will be there to speak about the impact this industry has on our local communities.
Plus, there will be live entertainment, food trucks, and many good people there (like yourself) who want to make a difference in the world. You'll be so happy you went!
If you are unable to attend the event live, there is a virtual option to sign up for. Another great way to get involved and show your support is to make a donation at
