Event Description

Join us for the City of Lakewood’s Jingle Bell Rock 5K Fun Run and free 1 mile family/kids run (this is not a chip timed run) and feel freet to walk! Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor CHI Franciscan Health and St. Clare Hospital, and Drangsholt Orthodontics

Saturday December 8th at 11 a.m. The 1 mile run/walk is free and starts is about 3 minutes after the start of the 5k run. One mile participants do not get a tshirt, just the 5k participants who pay. However there will be prizes and medals for all children. The one mile run is open to adults who want to run/walk. The 1 mile course is on both dirt and paved trails. Warm up around the fire pit at the finish with hot clam chowder donated by Ivars, and s’mores!

Dig out your favorite elf hats, Santa beards, striped stockings, and other holiday-themed costumes. Everyone is welcome, including dogs, so bring the whole family and get your jingle on (bells provided) at beautiful Fort Steilacoom Park.  Join the costume contest. Prizes go to best adult, child, and best dog!

Please note, to have a gauranteed shirt, you need to register by November 19 at noon.
