Event Description

Welcome to the 2nd annual Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust 5K Trail Run/Walk! This event will help raise funds to support PERT’s efforts to protect the 828 acres of open space the Pennypack Preserve encompasses. The funds will help to sustain the wildlife habitat, native plant communities, and spectacular views that are becoming increasingly rare in southeastern Pennsylvania. PERT is partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to provide a great experience in the Pennypack Preserve!

-          Your race entry fee includes a race t-shirt! Guarantee your size before 4/1/19

-          Children 12 and under are free.

Member (must enter membership #)- till 4/26 - $25;  on Race Day - $35

Non-member – til 4/26 - $40; Race Day $50. (Non-member registration includes a 1-year membership to Pennypack Trust.  As a member you will receive notice of sales and events through the quarterly Coming Events brochure; free or discounted admission to programs; every day discounts on birdseed and gift shop purchases; a subscription to Natural Landscapes, the Trust's newsletter; 10% off All Aboard Cafe located on Montgomery County's Pennypack Trail.)

Amenities:     

Course- A scenic, rolling hills course on grass and gravel that is great for both beginners and “seasoned” trail blazers.  The course begins and ends at the headquarters. Since this is a run on nature’s trails, the course will be as close to 5K as we can get it!.
