Event Description

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, the Veterans Support Center at the University of Utah is holding a 100 kilometer march around the University's campus. The 22 hour relay will commemorate the end of the Great War and honor the service and sacrifice that members of our Armed Forces have made throughout history and continue to make every day.

The march is broken into 40 minute laps. Each lap is 3 kilometers. Participants will have the honor of carrying the U.S. flag during each lap.  The laps will take place nonstop until we reach 100k! You may sign up for more than one lap.

In addition to walking shifts, you can sign up for a 2 or 4 hour shift as a lap-counter. As a lap-counter, you will stay at the start/finish line and ensure that laps are started on time, completed on time, and the lap number is recorded.

EVERY SHIFT REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE (THE BUDDY SYSTEM). SIGN UP WITH A FRIEND OR MEET A FRIEND.

The Start/Finish line is locate on the East Plaza of the Marriot Library at the University of Utah.

Dogs are allowed on a leash.
