DAY OF THE DOG: RUN, WALK OR JOG 5K & 10K
*This is a virtual race!
Sunday, August 26th, 2018 was National Dog Day! To help celebrate, we are hosting our third annual Day of the Dog: Run, Walk or Jog 5K & 10K! We invite you to complete a 5K or 10K anytime in August or September, for, or with, your favorite four legged friend. 15% of every registration will be donated to Freedom Service Dogs of America.
Freedom Service Dogs is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs. Clients include children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults. Their disabilities include autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
By completing a virtual 5K or 10K and we’ll send you an awesome Day of the Dog Medal, plus an attached dog tag for your favorite four legged friend.

What: This is a 5K and 10K virtual run (or walk) to celebrate the day of the dogs!
When: Complete your race any time in August or September!
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).
Why: Because this is our way of celebrating DOGS and to help raise funds for an amazing organization: Freedom Service Dogs of America.
*Medals and tags will ship at the end of July. After that, within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Cost: The price is $20 and that includes your medal and dog tag, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 15% of every entry will be donated to Freedom Service Dogs of America. *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5K, 10K, half marathon and more!
