The North Yonkers Scholarship Foundation will hold our 7th annual 5K Run/Walk to benefit: The FULLER CENTER for HOUSING of GREATER NYC(formerly Habitat for Humanity). Their mission is to providesafe,quality,affordable and green housing for lower income families and individuals. The Chili Hilly will be earmarked for a local rebuild in Northwest Yonkers.
This is an event for all ages and skill levels that takes you through the hills of Nortwest Yonkers. Everyone is welcome to join us at run and post race party at Kinsley Park.
Event details and schedule
COURSE: Start and finish on Palisade Ave municipal lot just south of Roberts Ave. The 3.1 mile course is hilly and challenging with multiple water/rest stops throughout the course and at the finish. "CHILI" and refreshments provided at post race party in Kinsley Park.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Starts 830 AM at Kinsley Park( corner of Park Ave & Chase Ave)
START TIME: 10AM for runners and walkers
REGISTRATION FEE: $30 race day; $25 pre-registered; over 70 and Active Military
FREE with ID. Under 18 - $20
PRE-REGISTRATION/SHIRT & BIB PICKUP: Nugents Pub 782 Palisade Ave, Yonkers NY on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4-8 pm.
RACE SHIRTS: Guaranteed to all who pre-register before Oct. 11; all others on race day will be subject to first come first serve basis. We are unable to guarantee shirts for race day entries. Please register early to ensure your size.
