Event Description
This year, thank our military service veteran's with deeds, not words. Battle through a series of challenges taken directly from the US Military training doctrine designed to test your determination, intestinal fortitude, and grit.
Expect:
- To spend some time on the cold & wet ground while performing challenges
- To get familiar with lifting heavy sandbags, water jugs, and teammates
- Team oriented challenges that build your leadership and physical abilities
- A sense of pride and accomplishent
- To travel approximately 10 miles
Coordinating Instructions:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before start time for accountability
- Ensure that you pack at least 4 liters of water, a change of socks, comfortable shoes (we will do a lot of movement) and weather appropriate attire. Gloves recommended.
- Bring a backpack or rucksack packed with at least 10% of your body weight, or 30 lbs - whichever comes first
- Please inform cadre in advance of the start if you have an injury that will impact your participation in the event
