INVITATIONS: The Pacific Northwest Cross Country Championships is a championship event that invites cross country athletes to compete from all divisions, ages, and affiliations. This event will conduct 8 races offering an opportunity for all runners to compete in a championship race recognizing 1st and 2nd team honors for the very experienced competitors to the novice contestants.

Youth PNW XC 3000 (Elemenatry): Girls – 5th grade and under, Boys – 5th grade and under) 2 races
Middle School PNW XC 3000 (Middle School): Girls - 6th to 8th grades, Boys - 6th to 8th grades) 2 races
High School PNW XC 5000 (JV Championships): Girls – 9th to 12th grades, Boys – 9th to 12th grades) 2 races
PNW XC Open 5000 (Open, Collegiate, Club, & Unattached): Ages 13 & over
SOVAH Commander’s Cup 5000 (Military: Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, Veteran, ROTC, and EMS): Ages 13 & over
AWARDS: Div. Champion - 1st place, 1st Team All-PNW: 2nd - 8th place, 2nd Team All-PNW: 9th - 15th place
Top 3 teams in each race. Open division will have 2 separate divisions (39 and under, 40 and over) for 6 total team awards per gender.
REGISTRATION: The online entry deadlines are Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:59 pm.
All team entries must have a consistent team name in order to be placed on the same squad. Individuals who do not reflect a recognizable team name will be considered as UNATTACHED and will not be scored as a member of their team of choice. EXAMPLE: User input for Cummings Elementary School would be CUMMINGS. Whiteaker middle school would be WHITEAKER. Bowerman Track Club would be BOWERMAN TC. North Salem High School JROTC would be N. SALEM JROTC. Red Lizard Running Club would be RED LIZARD RC.
UNATTACHED RUNNERS: For all runners that are not running with a team and chooses to run attached; please select JOIN AN EXISTING TEAMS / CLUBS option and then scroll down to UNATTACHED and select as your racing status. This option will then allow you to move forward with your registration as an UNATTACHED athlete.
ENTRY FEE: $10 per athlete
PARKING: There will be a $5 parking fee for all POVs. Team buses and vans are exempt. Parking spaces available for use are found at lots P3, R, S, and U for all POVs. If parking lots are full, please proceed to the overflow parking lot at Morning Star Community Church (2.5 miles away), 4775 27th Avenue SE, Salem, OR 97302. Shuttles will be running 3 times an hour to-and-from the competition site and the overflow parking.
BUS & VAN DROP-OFF: All buses and vans will pull into Warrior Drive and receive guidance from the parking attendant to drop off athletes, coaches, and tents. All team buses and vans will then proceed to Morning Star Community Church, 4775 27th Avenue SE, Salem, OR 97302 to park their bus or van for the duration of the competition. Drivers can take the shuttle back to the competition site using the "Pick Up / Drop Off" shuttle that runs 3 times an hour.
LODGING: The Pacific Northwest XC Championships host hotel is the Phoenix Inn Suites located at 4370 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302. This location is a brief 8 minute drive to Corban University and is centered around many dining options and conveniently close to the I5 freeway.
DIRECTIONS TO CORBAN UNIVERSITY FROM INTERSTATE 5:
From Interstate 5 - Take Exit 252 (Kuebler Boulevard). Turn east and follow signs. Continue on Kuebler Blvd 3/4 mile and turn right on Turner Road. Proceed 1/2 mile southeast and turn left onto Deer Park Drive (directional sign says Corban University). Continue one mile northeast to university main entrance on right.
Local Traffic From Salem - From Commercial St: Take Kuebler Blvd. east to Turner Road and follow signs.
From East Salem: Take Lancaster Drive south (name changes to Aumsville Hwy). Continue southeast on Aumsville Hwy. to Deer Park Drive SE, turn right and follow signs to campus entrances.
