Run For Life/Zephyrhills Pregnancy Care Center of Zephyrhills
Run For Life, a community event to benefit the non-profit Zephyrhills Pregnancy Care Center, which annually helps hundreds of moms and their children in desperate situations in our community, is scheduled for January 26, 2019. This event will begin on 5th Ave., near the Main Street Stage; race day registration begins at 7 a.m.; 5k starts at 8:30; 1 mi. Fun Run starts at 9:15. Everyone is invited to be a part of this event. There will be a music set and last chance donation for the Pregnancy Care Center, and of course refreshments for participants. Trophies and medals will go to top finishers. There will be a chance for some giveaways for registered participants. Last year's donors were: Cracker Barrel, Texas Roadhouse Grill, Creative Soul's Cafe, Happy Cow, Rack Room Shoes, Dominoes Pizza, Wendy's, All About You Day Spa, Popeyes, Hibbetts Sports, Capri Pizza, Popeyes, Great Clips, McDonald's, Sergio's Pizza, Hair Designs by Jay, an electric cooler and more...and of course post-race refreshments. If there are extra t-shirts, they can be be purchased for just $5 to go to the PCC of Zephyrhills.
We have RFID chip timing this year dontated by Run For Life Race Timing! (813 453 9219) We are a USATF sanctioned event.
Runners, walkers, and virtual runners (those supporting the cause, but won’t take part physically) who register will be receive an event t-shirt as long as they last. Registration forms can be picked up at the Z’hills Chamber of Commerce, East Pasco YMCA, Anytime Fitness on 301, Zephyrhills, Retroflex Fitness, or can be received by contacting Roberta @813 453 9042 or ninevincents@gmail.com. Online registration is available now by going to pcczephyrhills.org which will link you to active.com.

Event details and schedule
Race Day Registration begins at 7:00 a.nl; 5k start is at 8:30; 1 mile fun run starts at 9:15. The courrse will be well marked (see route and parking info. in event description). The races will be RF chip timed this year. Rock painting for kids, along with free race participant refreshments, will take place after the races, and an awards ceremony will follow between 10 and 11:00. Please look for signs and race attendants to direct you to parking. Be sure to get your race bib with # at the race registration table. If you pre-registered, your packet with shirt will be waiting for you. Wear your favorite socially acceptable running attire, enjoy the friendly small town atmosphere, and feel great that you're being active for such a worthy cause.
