Event Description

Join us for the 33nd Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning! As many as four generations in one family have participated in this event! There's the 2 mile fun/run walk for the whole family, 4.49 mile timed race for the more serious runner, and the Diestlehorst Dash for the kids! Start your Thanksgiving day morning with Redding's longest standing family tradition! 

• *Due to the CARR Fire the 6 mile race has to be re-routed along the Sacramento River Trail. This year that portion will be 4.49 miles. Registration cost is the same. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will be donated to the restoration of the Sacramento River Trail damaged in the CARR Fire. We appreciate your understanding as the community recovers.
