EVENT DETAILS

Back for a 6th year!  Meltfest is held the first Saturday in SPRING.  For 2019 this is Saturday, March 23, 2019. 

Similar to years past, the event starts and finishes at the historic Prairie Street Brewhouse while taking runners and walkers through multiple historic districts of downtown Rockford.  The race kicks off at 10:00 a.m.  

Race entry (with both youth and adult pricing) includes event shirt, complimentary ticket to the 3/23 evening IceHogs game against the Milwaukee Admirals, finisher medal, post-race snack table, beverage from Prairie Street, and more.  Race is chip timed and the top three male and female finishers in each age group will also receive additional awards.  Finally, fastest female and fastest male also get special recognition.  The 2019 event benefits GiGi's Playhouse (Rockford).

For the kiddos that cannot handle a full 5K, we have a FREE kids run that follows the adult race.  Learn more about this at www.meltfest.com.
