Event Description
The Longview Civic Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Jim Taylor, is hosting a family friendly 5K to raise funds for the 2019 Spring trip to perform in the one and only Carnegie Hall in New York City! Members of the LeTourneau Singers, as well as other choirs, friends, and family from around the nation, will also be participating in this once in a lifetime experience! Here's your chance to take part in the adventure with us!
We invite ALL members of the East Texas community to join us for a 5K run at the beautiful LeTourneau University campus.
- All registered participants will receive a specially designed Carnegie Hall 5K Race T-shirt in their registration packet and a finishing medal upon completion of the 5K!
- Children ages 6-17 are more than welcome to join us for a reduced rate of $18 so that families may enjoy this fun activity together! Little ones 5 and under are encouraged to cheer on the racers from the sidelines -or- they can join a registered racer on the course in a stroller.
