Event Description

If you have ever joined us for our Saturday morning Fun Runs, WeRun SF, Sunset Runs, or any of the many other running groups around San Francisco, the chances are you have met Mercedes "Mom" Acosta.  Loved by all; she is the patron saint of running in San Francisco.

This year is her 75th birthday and we're helping her celebrate the best way we know how: A Fun Run!

Join us on Saturday December 1st at 8:30am for a 5km Fun Run (or walk).  

LOCATION: The run will meet and take place at the Equator Coffee in Fort Mason (2 Marina Blvd)

DONATION: Mercedes has requested that all participants donate $10 to participate.  The donation will be split evenly between the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and The Lesedi Project (supporting the students of the Ethembeni School).

WHAT ELSE: Every participant will receive a running tshirt from Fleet Feet commemorating Mom's Fun Run
