Event Description
You don't want to miss this spectacular run along the Continental Divide (CDT) trail!
All races begin in Thompson Park, just south of beautiful Butte America. You get to run on the Milwaukee Trail through some historic train tunnels (headlamp recommended) toward Pipestone pass (6,348') where you will access the CDT. 25 and 50K runners will run the CDT to Homestake pass (6,329'), 10K runners will run the CDT to the Beaver Ponds trail in Thompson Park. The 10 and 50K are a loop with a few out and back sections. The 25K is a point to point. We will have a shuttle vehicle. This race is in conjunction with the Montana Folk Festival!
- Friday, July 12: 5 to 8pm-Packet pickup at Quarry Brewing (124 West Broadway Street).
- Saturday, July 13: 7 to 7:45am (50K), 7 to 8:15am (25K), 7 to 8:30am (10K)-Packet pickup in Thompson Park.
- 8am: 50K start!
- 8:30am: 25K start!
- 9:00am:10K start!
- 4:00pm: After party at the Quarry Brewing! Free beer, pizza, and fun.
You can kickoff your Saturday with some old fashioned kick ass exercise and finish with a cold beer and live music!
