Event Description
In 1963, the newly formed Ski Club Vail hosted its first Rocky Mountain Ski Association race, and the Vail Cup was born. More than 50 years later, the Vail Cup was reborn as an exciting and challenging series of events encompassing all programs offered by Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (SSCV).
2019 Series : Registration required for each event
January 13 - Lil' Big Mountain (AM) & Giant Slalom (PM)
Janaury 27 - Slopestyle (AM) & Halfpipe (PM)
February 17 - GS (AM) & Moguls (PM)
March 24 - Giant Slalom
- Events on Sundays, (January– March) with a Overall Awards on the last day
- Events held on Vail Mountain
- Includes a combination of two of the following events on some days: Giant Slalom races, Moguls, Little Big Mountain and Park & Pipe
- Open and free to youth YOB 2003 and younger
- Open to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities
- No SSCV membership needed – Buddy Werner, Devo, Bevo & independents welcome
***Bib pick-up from 8:00am - 9:00am on Race Day.
***Online Registration will close at 7am the morning of each Vail Cup. If you miss the online registration, please come to Bib pick up on event day for Day of Registration.
