Event Description

Break up your winter training by testing your hard earned fitness at the 2018-2019 Chester County 5k Winter Series. The 5k Winter Series is being held at the “PR” friendly Downingtown West High School course and features MyLaps bibtag timing, Awards based on Age-Grading, fast accurate results emailed directly to racers, and more – all for a great low price. We will have a 5k/10k option for Race 2.

RACE #1: Sunday, December 16th
RACE #2: Sunday, January 20th
RACE #3: Sunday, February 17th  

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
Race day registration will be available at the Downingtown West campus starting approximately one hour before the 5k race.

RACE COURSE:
The USATF Certified 5k course will run around the grounds of the Downingtown West and Middle
School campuses. It is extremely fast and offers a great opportunity to run a winter PR.

AWARDS:
Top 10 Age Graded Results. Age grading is a way of putting all race participants on a level playing field,regardless of age or gender.

TIMING AND RESULTS:
Results will be posted live.  Disposable MyLaps Bibtag system will be used to ensure quick, accurate results. When the weather permits we will also have scrolling results. 

RACE CHANGES:
If, and only if, the weather is horrible and predicted to get worse would we change or cancel the event. The status of the race may be checked on our website and our Facebook page.
