Event Description

In a galaxy far, far away, the stars have aligned. One of the most celebrated days of the year is falling on a Saturday in 2019.... MAY THE FOURTH... We will be celebrating May the Fourth at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, NJ with a beach race! Though we can't guarantee that you will see Sand People or Banthas, there will definitely be Sasquatch-sightings. We are excited to offer several different events at the Sand Squatch! Runners can sign-up for a 4-miler or an 8-miler. We are also offering a Lifeguard Division for the 4- and 8-miler races. The 4 and 8 mile races, including the Lifeguard Division, start at 3PM. Mini-Squatch-Padawans can register for the Kids Fun Run! All of the events will start and finish at "Ocean Swimming Area #2". The Kids Fun Run will start at 2:30PM.
