Event Description

Located near Issaquah, Tiger Mountain State Forest is a 13,745-acre working forest that includes the West Tiger Mountain Natural Resources Conservation Area. Tiger Mountain offers many recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, hang gliding, paragliding, and of course some of the best trail running in the area.

The course is 99% run on amazing single or double track trails and will take runners up the infamous Section Line Trail to Tiger #3 as well as Tiger #2 and our first Aid Station. From here the course loops out through the forest on the Tiger Mountain Trail (TMT), W. Tiger No. 1 Trail, and Dwights Way, bringing you to the High Point Trail where you will cross the 200 foot Lower High Point Creek Trail Bridge put in place by the DNR in 2015.

Now  back on the TMT, you will climb up and over to Aid Station 2 at the High Point TH. After refueling, enjoy some smooth “flat” trails that will loop you around the Tradition Lake Plateau and back to the Start/Finish.
