Event Description

SPF 5k is an event organized in order to raise funds for dermatologic research and education. Finding a cure for melanoma is a cause we are very passionate about. We hope you will partner with us in taking the next steps toward finding a cure for this deadly disease. All participants in the SPF 5K or Fun Run will receive a free t-shirt. There will also be free skin cancer screenings provided at the race by dermatology residents from Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. Funds raised by SPF 5K participants will in part support research for treatments and ultimately a cure for melanoma. By participating in the SPF 5K, you can help make a real difference in the fight against melanoma!

*Free parking will be available in a lot adjacent to the park with a paved sidewalk to walk safely to race check in.
